Dec 12 - Cold air surged in from the north bringing early morning temps down into the 20’s. Gusty northwest winds made conditions very uncomfortable this morning.
As surface high pressure tracks south of the Ozarks today, northwest winds will eventually shift to the west by this afternoon. This will offer more of a warmer flow combined with sunshine. Temperatures this afternoon will warm into the 40’s.
The dry airmass over us will allow temperatures to drop back into the 20’s tonight. Wind speeds will relax quite a bit and sky will remain mostly clear.
